Got out to the gym this morning for some cross training. Elliptical irrates the nerve a little bit so I did a combination of elliptical and bike for an hour. I did try running on the indoor track but I can't still. Until the sharp pain in my lower back goes away I can't run. I'll just keep trying a combination of stretches, exercise ball, and inversion table to get this pain away. But i'm afraid it will take time. I don't know how much time at this point last time this happened it took a few weeks but I didn't know what it was then and how to fix it. I'm hoping this time pain will stop soon because it's getting frustating doing day to day tasks such as walking and lifting my 1 year old in constant pain.
