Our family is complete with 4 sweet girls. Now it's time for me to shed the weight and get back into running shape for good. I'm ready to work at it again in 2017!

Long-term running goals, Sub 3 hour marathon and 1:20 half marathon.

I'm married to my great husband Riley Cook. He helps me accomplish my running goals. We have 4 daughters Evelyn, Hannah, Nora, and Iris I'm also excited to be running for Utahrunning.com.

I haven't had a great couple days and it all piled up this afternoon and I just mentally wasn't there for my run today so I called it quits early. Here's hoping for a better tomorrow. 

At least I got upper fix in this morning, the day wasn't a total loss.

Feeling better about life today, mother in law watched the kids while I ran. Nervous about my oldest starting school tomorrow.

I met up with Sariah at Beus Pond to do a workout. I haven't had a great week so I wasn't sure how this would feel today, Sariah also has not had a great week. She had a flu bug for a few days that did a number on her. She just planned on jumping in a few of my intervals with me. 2 mile warm up and then I did 4x1000 and then 4x400s. The goal for the 1000s was 4:04 the goal for the 400s was to not die. Splits 3:59, 4:00, 4:01, 4:04. 3 min jog then 400s:  90, 89, 86, 86. About 1:35-1:45 jog for rest. I was pushing hard those last two 400s. 2 mile cool down. The workout was an improvement from a similar workout I did a month ago.

Got out and did 12 miles with Sariah on the river parkway. I'm a leper and she's coming off a week long stomach bug. Its been a rough week for the both of us. AP 8:24
