Race: South Weber Days "5k" (3.24 Miles) 00:21:57, Place overall: 4, Place in age division: 1
Total Distance
8.00

I ran my first race since my 2nd baby and I was overall pretty happy with my outcome. It's been awhile since I ran under 7 minute pace so my legs had a hard time getting going. My watch measured 3.24 at the end so I figured out online with my average pace of 6:47, I ran about 21:04 for 3.1. That's a good start for me. Hopefully I can continue to improve. I was the 4th female overall and first in my age group. The first two runners were really fast I wasn't expecting to compete or be up with them at all. But during the race I went back and forth with the 3rd place girl. I passed her about 1 mile into the race and thought she was way behind me, and then I let myself relax a little too much and she passed me with a mile to go and I couldn't catch her again. But i'm happy with my time. I ended up getting 8 miles in for the day too.
